Cultural Programme and Excursions

As a University of Applied Sciences, we attach great importance to the practical part of our courses as well as to our cultural program and excursions of our summer school.

For this reason, you will benefit from our interesting social and educational program:

• Subject course related field trips to relevant companies in and around Munich accompanied by a professor or administrative staff (such as to the production site and headquarter of BMW, ARGO(autonomous driving), Veoneer, etc.) - These visits are integrated in the engineering and business curricula.
• Excursions related to the German Language & Culture course accompanied by your German teacher (e.g. a visit to the Munich Documentation Centre for the History of National Socialism will contribute to a better understanding of more recent German history; a presentation by a representative of the European Commission)
• 2-3 cultural events so you can explore Munich and the Munich area and get an insight into German culture (such as an excursion to a Bavarian castle, to the mountains or to one of the beautiful Bavarian lakes)

Last but not least, we will have receptions and get-togethers for our international guests!

Besides these mandatory events, we will put together a list of excursion ideas with nice places and events that could be of interest for you.

Please note that the events and trips strongly depend on the Corona pandemic and the restrictions in place in the summer school period!
