European University Association (EUA)
HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences is a member of the European University Association (EUA), the largest association of European universities, with approximately 850 members from 49 countries in the European Higher Education Area.
The EUA represents the interests of its members in working groups and advisory bodies, and cooperates with international organisations such as the European Commission, OECD, UNESCO and the Council of Europe.
The EUA's tasks include the following:
- Building the European Higher Education Area through the Bologna Process.
- Highlighting the key role of higher education institutions in research and innovation
- Internationalise education and research
- Strengthening the quality of European universities
- Provide a framework for governance, autonomy and funding of higher education institutions
