Students from partner institutions may apply for the exchange program at the Munich University of Applied Sciences for one or two semesters.
Selected students must be nominated by the coordinator at their home institution via email before starting the application process at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. Contact persons can be found here .
The nomination deadlines are:
Winter semester: May 1st
Summer semester: December 1st

C. If you would like to participate in the Courses in English:
* Students must exhibit B1 level English proficiency at the time of the application (May 15th / December 15th). Students may use the time period between the initial application and enrollment (during Orientation Days) to improve their English skills and achieve a B2 level certificate, as this is required to take courses taught in English. Enrollment without a certificate of B2 English knowledge is not possible, if only courses in English were chosen.
D. If you want to participate in Courses in German:
* At the time of application (May 15th / December 15th) students must exhibit a level of A2 German language proficiency. Students may use the time period between the initial application and enrollment (during Orientation Days) to improve their German skills and achieve a B2 level certificate. We recommend B2 level German language proficiency in order to be able to follow the courses. Enrollment without a certificate of German language proficiency is not possible if only courses in German have been selected.
E. Additional requirements for Master students: copy of Bachelor or Diploma certificate
F. Additional requirements for European (ERASMUS) students:
copy of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC, E-111) or, if you have a private insurance, a document of your insurance company that confirms sufficient insurance coverage during your stay in Munich.
G. Additional requirements for Design students: digital Portfolio as PDF-file (max. 5MB)
Please send your scanned application documents via email as one (1) PDF-File with max. 5 MB to firstname.lastname@example.org. Design students can send the Portfolio additionally.
You can also fax the signed document to 0049-(0)89-1265-1140 .
You will not receive immediate confirmation that your application documents arrived. If they arrive more than two weeks before the deadline, we may be able to review it and acknowledge the receipt. If it arrives close to the application deadline we will process your application after the deadline.
In any case: Letters of Acceptance will be sent to you within one month after the deadline.
Applications which are received after the deadline or incomplete cannot be accepted.
