University of Applied Sciences München (MUAS) was founded in 1971. With
more than 13.500 students, it is the largest university of its kind
in Bavaria and one of the largest in Germany. Approximately 440
professors, 600 part time lecturers from industry and commerce and 350
technical and administrative staff are employed at the MUAS. The proportion
of female students has been steadily increasing. Women currently make up about 35% of the student body.
The MUAS collaborates with more than 100 partner universities
around the world. Approximately 70% of these partner universities
are located in Europe. Others are located in North and South America, Asia and
Eastern Europe. International students currently make up 13,5% of the student body.
Students can choose from 5 Diploma, 25 Bachelor's and 26 Master's programmes in 14 departments:
