Our Architecture Program provides insights into historical continuity,esthetic and artistic design as well as the functional aspects (technical and financial)of building design.The needs of the individual and society in general are kept in the forefront - as with adapting new buildings to the existing environment. Architects have an ethical in addition to a financial responsibility for their work.A talent for design and presentation as well as technical workmanship are prerequisites for this program.Graduates can work in architecture and planning,in the civil service and as construction supervisors – or go into business for themselves.

General Studies

General Studies offers a wide variety of courses in international competence, cultural competence and teaching soft skills.The department also offers foreign language courses and leading to UNIcert certificates in French,Spanish, Italian and English.The University Chorus,Big Band and Symphony Orchestra round out our offerings.

An age-old dream at the traditional universities has become a reality at the University of Applied Sciences München – a general studies program with more than one-hundred-fifty courses to choose from each semester. You can pick your own area of specialization.All of our offerings are available as electives.In addition,the students complete three mandatory electives as part of their degree requirements in other departments.

The General Studies Department also offers a certificate and a master's program in International Communication and Cooperation.


 

Tourism
