Working on education together

Invest together with HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences into future education prospects. The key issue at hand here can be summed up as a lack of qualified personnel. But there is more to it than that. Promising and talented students are able to develop their full potential at HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences. As a university of applied sciences, the integration of research, teaching, and practice is an especially important priority for us and is in keeping with our guiding principle "Where knowledge turns into capability – and people become individuals".

We can jointly identify the goals which connect us and establish how we can work together to create added value for our students and for you.

Opportunities for collaboration include:

  • Guest lectures and subject-specific events
  • Projects in student life (e.g. welcome address at the start of the first semester, Student Council work)
  • Interdisciplinary projects such as Formula Student
  • Joint events
  • Bachelor’s and master’s theses
  • Project work
  • Events organised by the alumni network
  • Scholarships and prizes
  • Endowed professorships

Promoting talent with a Deutschlandstipendium

The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship) offers a fantastic opportunity to provide personal support for students with high ambitions and to create direct ties with the managers of tomorrow.

As a private scholarship sponsor, you provide 50% of the funding and the Federal Ministry for Education and Research provides the other half:

  • Your contributions start at EUR 150 a month, amounting to EUR 1800 for each annual scholarship. You can focus your support on particular fields of study.
  • Your funding is matched by a federal grant.
  • The scholarship holders receive EUR 300 a month over two semesters. This gives them the financial support they need to pursue a targeted course of study and provides further incentive for high performance.

Students in all subject areas may apply for a Deutschlandstipendium. A successful application depends in part on previous achievements. However, other factors such as a willingness to take on responsibilities, as shown by applicants’ social commitment, and difficult personal circumstances are also considered. Subject to satisfactory academic performance, the scholarship can be extended and a more long-term relationship between the scholarship sponsor and scholarship holder can be established.
