Promoting talent with a Deutschlandstipendium
The Deutschlandstipendium (Germany scholarship) offers a fantastic opportunity to provide personal support for students with high ambitions and to create direct ties with the managers of tomorrow.
As a private scholarship sponsor, you provide 50% of the funding and the Federal Ministry for Education and Research provides the other half:
- Your contributions start at EUR 150 a month, amounting to EUR 1800 for each annual scholarship. You can focus your support on particular fields of study.
- Your funding is matched by a federal grant.
- The scholarship holders receive EUR 300 a month over two semesters. This gives them the financial support they need to pursue a targeted course of study and provides further incentive for high performance.
Students in all subject areas may apply for a Deutschlandstipendium. A successful application depends in part on previous achievements. However, other factors such as a willingness to take on responsibilities, as shown by applicants’ social commitment, and difficult personal circumstances are also considered. Subject to satisfactory academic performance, the scholarship can be extended and a more long-term relationship between the scholarship sponsor and scholarship holder can be established.
