What is Hochschule-Mentoring?
HoMe is a mentoring programme for international first-year students to ease their start into studying at HM and living in Munich.

How does it work?
The international first-year degree students (mentees) meet advanced students from their department (mentors). The mentors explain general and specific issues about studying at HM. The mentors coach and support the mentees during the whole first semester.
Have you just enrolled at HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and don't know what to expect? Are you still trying to meet new friends? Then our mentoring programme is what you need.

What should you do as mentee?
You should meet your mentor regularly to talk about all your study and student life related questions.

What do you get from the programme?
You will...
- meet advanced students from your department
- find out where can you ask specific questions (exams, block events, scripts, funding)
- get hints & tips from experienced students about planning your studies successfully at HM
- have help from your mentor with all your questions.
