Visa applications

Unfortunately, HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences cannot help you with visa applications.


For questions about visa, residence permits or blocked accounts please contact the Immigration Office (Ausländerbehörde) in Munich or your city of residence in Germany or the German Embassy in your home country directly.


Please note that it will take up to 6 weeks to process your visa application. Make sure you have all requested documents ready for your appointment with the embassy.


Letter of admission

You will receive your letter of admission to HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences


  • in the beginning of February for the summer semester (classes start: 15 March)
  • in the middle of August for the summer semester (classes start: 1 October)
