Application - Requirements - Fees

Application for summer 2023 starts mid-December!

Please apply online at the link that will be active at that date on our website.

Please read the information about the application procedure as well as the course description carefully before applying.

Places are limited! Please be aware that early applications will be favored.

Visa requirements:

1. Please note that citizens coming from several non-European countries must apply for a visa before entering Germany.

2. For applicants coming from other countries, a valid passport (or a national identity card for EU citizens) is sufficient.

If your stay will not exceed three months, you won't need an additional residence permit.

In order to be able to participate in our summer school, you have to be at least 18 years old.

Applicants must provide the following documents:

  • Letter of motivation (300-500 words, on a separate sheet)
  • Proof of English skills if English is not your mother tongue (level B2 of CEFR, TOEFLiBT 90 or equivalent)
  • Copy of the most recent transcript of records
  • Profile picture

1. Program fee: €1,695

It covers the tuition for the all courses, company visits (incl. transfers), the official cultural and social program, books and supplies, basic health and liability insurance, miscellaneous.

2. Accommodation: will require an additional

€ 900-1800 for housing in Munich and along the company tour, depending on the chosen room category (single or twin bedroom at a hotel reserved by HM).

3. Public transportation:

Upon arrival, please purchase an airport-city-day-ticket to reach your accommodation or hostel.

For the first week in Munich, we recommend a weekly ticket (about €20), valid for all means of public transportation and for up to two "rings". You would have to buy an additional ticket if you would like to travel beyond these tow rings.

For the second week, you will only need a ticket for Monday and Friday as you will be on a bus tour from Tuesday through Friday afternoon.

4. Food:
