International Staff Exchange
HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences (HM) welcomes international staff visitors from all administrative areas.
To be able to offer an interesting programme to visiting staff, an application at least 2 months prior to the visit is necessary. However, please note that due to limited capacities, usually we do not host individual staff exchanges. We encourage you to take part in our International Staff Week.
Our international staff mobility coordinators are happy to support and help you with organisational and administrative issues related to your stay in Munich.
HM regularly organizes an International Staff Week. Due to COVID pandemic, the next Staff Week will take place in 2023. Usually, we offer around 30 places that are allocated to our exchange partners on priority. Further details will follow.

Upon arrival, you will receive a welcome package with information about Munich and our university. We also offer special welcome services and guided campus tours.
Are you interested in learning German? There are many ways to get to know the language and culture better. We can help you find a course that suits your needs.
The International Office organizes a cultural programme for international guests, their families and friends. You are welcome to join our regular informal get-togethers, trips to interesting sights in and around Munich, and various cultural events on campus.
Depending on the duration of your stay, the International Office team is happy to help you with questions about accommodation.
